HUB G2b is design for smooth replacement of the internal bearing.The most complicated repair/maintenance of ERW'sare bearing replacements.The HUB G2b is equipped with a Bearing-rim,in which the bearing is placed,the Bearing-rim is secured into the HUB-seat by6 stainless screws.To replace the bearing simply remove the6 Rim-screws,use3of these screws to push out the Bearing-rim from the HUB-seat.
The Concept with a Bearing-rim,is used onour Land-based Half-Moon units,with rotor diameter up to 4 . 2 \mathsf { m } The Half-Moon rotors has been on the market since 2018.
Wenow introduce the featurewitharemovable/replaceable BEARiNGRIM,thebearing rimisaseparatepartof the HUB hosting the bearing.Take the bearing rim to your workshop and remove/setanewbearing or replace the complete bearing rim with a pre-set bearing,provided as spare parts from Ostberg.
HUB3(6)G2k- Newconcept for improved durabilityand ese of maintenance
HUB G2k solution for ERW's with external bearing holders.ERWs with HUB G2k features a HUB-Rim with a Keyway,the HUB- Rim is attached to the HUB by 6 stainless screws.To remove the Rim,remove the 6 Rim-screws,use 3 of these screws to push out the Rim from the HUB-seat.
HUB G2k and HUB G2b utilizes the same HUB.
Combine the HUB G2k with Ostberg Bearing holder eXtreme.The closed chamber in the bearing holder prevents surrounding air to reach the bearing,preventing the bearing grease to becomes exhausted by turbulent air around the bearing.
